FIFA has confirmed that GEODIS Park is one of 12 stadiums in the United States that will stage matches at the new FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ when the 32 best clubs in the world play for the only official title of FIFA Club World Champions.
Three of the tournament’s matches will be played at GEODIS Park. On June 20, 2025, Club León (LEO) and Esperance Sportive de Tunisie (EST) will face off at GEODIS Park!

Liga MX side Club León features former Nashville SC and Venezuelan international forward Jhonder Cádiz. Cádiz recorded four goals and two assists for the Boys in Gold across 30 appearances between 2020 and 2021. The Venezuelan joined Club León in July 2024 and currently leads the Liga MX side this season in goals (five) and goal contributions (five goals, one assist).
Club León has recorded eight Mexican league titles in its 81-year history, including consecutive championships twice (1947/48-1948/49, 2013-14), and 10 additional domestic trophies (five Copa Mexico titles and five Campeón de Campeones trophies). Los Esmereldas boast one international title after beating Los Angeles FC in the 2023 Concacaf Champions League, which earned them a berth in both the FIFA Club World Cup Saudi Arabia 2023™ and the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™.
Espérance Sportive de Tunise is one of only four teams representing Africa at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™. The elder statesmen of Tunisian soccer own a record-breaking 33 league titles, 15 Tunisian Cups and four CAF Champions League crowns. The club’s most recent Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle1 title came in the 2023-24 season when the team went 10W-0L-2D in the regular season and 6W-1L-3D in the playoffs. Espérance has also participated in three FIFA Club World Cups (2011, 2018 and 2019), including a fifth-place finish in 2018. Additionally, the Tunisian side was named seventh in FIFA’s best African clubs of the twentieth century.
